In 1998, when the company decided to re-engineer their core market facing processes, Viresh was selected to head the cross functional team and was given the mandate to do so. In November 1999 Tata Steel went live in 40 locations across the country in the biggest and most ambitious big bang implementation. This successful implementation laid a strategic foundation for Tata Steel's supremacy in the domestic as well as global steel industry.

$IL, metaljunction - today known as mjunction services limited - to eTransform the
steel supply chain. He has been highly successful in doing so and today www.metaljunction.comis the world's largest electronic steel marketplace.
He then went on to transform the coal supply chain in India ushering in transparency and providing an opportunity to the smallest scale consumer to buy directly from the largest coal company in the world. The launch of coaljunction eliminated the middleman and put an end to the coal mafia stronghold.
One success led to the other in the form of buy junction, autojunction, straightline, mjunctionedge...which then resulted in the company changing its name from metaljunction to mjunction.
His foresight is unparalled and gets reflected in the vision he has created for mjunction which is - mj@12 will be the most admired and acclaimed Indian brand in eCommerce with an annual transactional value of USD 10 billion.
The recognition mjunction has received in the past few years, bears testimony to the path-breaking initiatives undertaken by Viresh.
