India core is a media/ publishing/ event company with activities ranging from research reports, customised research/ research on demand, directories, print publishing, contract publishing, organizing & promoting events, conferences & exhibitions, online websites (, MICE travel.

We are looking for employees in sales & marketing, office coordination, website development, data entry, accounts, and research areas for our Gurgaon office in PVK, Ansals Palam Vihar, Gurgaon.

The candidates must be self-directed, self-motivated, with good written and verbal communication skills, willing to learn and work hard. They must be able to work under pressure of deadlines and targets. They must also have a clear sense of values and ethics.

They must also be comfortable in a small-company environment with all its challenges. We are a pioneer organisation with well received products but we are not a large corporation.

In a small company environment, the pace is fast and the expectations high. You won't feel constrained by a box, and will be exposed to many aspects outside of your core position in order to get the job done. The staff members are expected to show flexibility in their approach to work and be willing to undertake other tasks and missions that are allocated to them but which are not part of their regular job description.

Detailed Job Description & Skills Required

Editorial/ Research Analysts/ Content Development

Editorial staff/ Analysts in research/ consulting for content development & updation and for information products in the infrastructure sectors. Candidates must have a high degree of intellectual curiosity, excellent written & verbal communication skills, ability to write clearly & concisely on infrastructure related subjects and high level of personal integrity.

Sales & Marketing Professionals

Sales/ Marketing Executives/ Tele Marketing Executives/ Business Development Officers for advertising sales, sale & distribution of information products, conference sales & promotions, web marketing, organising trade events, client servicing etc. Dynamic, young result-oriented professionals who are articulate, computer literate, fluent in English and have good communication & networking skills. They should be hard-working with a pleasing personality and have the confidence to deal with and convince senior management.

  • Pitching for new sales for offline & online activities, publications and events  
  • Responsible for promotion and sales of online/ print advertising and various other tie-ups with organisations
  • Responsible for selling sponsorship opportunities across various industry sectors
  • Responsible for generating revenue through sales and online subscription to  website
  • Identify the customized solutions requirements of the customers
  • Tele Marketing
  • Inviting customers to attend seminar / conferences etc.
  • Prepare proposals and agreements for customers based upon solutions developed by telephone or client meeting
  • Proactively develop and build customers
  • Strengthen relationships with customers
  • Keeping record of client interactions and regular follow up

Marketing Assistant/ Office Coordinator/ Telecaller

The candidates would assist in advertising sales, circulation, conference management and office coordination. Dynamic, young professionals who are articulate, computer literate, fluent in English and have good communication & typing skills. Professional diploma/ qualification in sales & office management/ secreterial practice would be an added advantage. Female candidates will be preferred.

  • Handling Correspondence, sending & receiving E - mails
  • Preparing vouchers, purchase orders etc
  • Typing work on computer
  • Maintaining office filing system & office registers
  • Collecting & entering information from Internet
  • Able to handle all Administration works
  • Attending incoming calls
  • Opening, sorting and categorizing all incoming information
  • Processing all outgoing communication in the form of emails, letters
  • Conference management

Web Designer/ Graphic Designer

Young professional with creative insight, relevant computer training in web designing and printing tools with knowledge of Dreamweaver, HTML, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Quark Express, Page Maker etc. Knowledge of Java, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, Flash, C, C++, VB, .Net, ASP.Net, PHP, JSP would be an added advantage.

The candidate would assist in creating, maintaining & updating the company's websites.  In addition the person will design creatives, brochures, book covers, advertisements and other communication material.

Accounting Professional

Accounting Professional with requisite qualification & knowledge of tally for preparation and filing of invoices, bills, storing and maintaining data in computer, book keeping using tally software, account reconciliation etc. The candidates should be familiar with MS office. The candidate would also assist in handling correspondence, sending & receiving E – mails and office administration.

Candidate with some knowledge of publishing/ event industry will be preferred.
