Theme: “Instrument Transformers for Modern Power System and Grids”
The Instrument Transformers Division of IEEMA (Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association) is organising the third International Conference on Instrument Transformers, to take place on 12-13 June, 2014 at Hotel The Park, 15 Parliament Street, New Delhi 110 001.
TECH-IT conferences have emerged out well over the past few years. Instrument Transformer is very crucial element of T&D domain as it is directly related to protection and metering purposes.
The main objective of this conference is to discuss various issues related to the theme of the conference. The Instrument transformer plays an elemental and essential role in the electrical protection and metering system and proper selection of the Instrument Transformer plays a vital role avoiding ‘over- specification’. The technology advances all the time, bringing in user friendly and modern equipments. The use of modern technology is not only limited to manufacturing processes alone, but also in testing, installation/commissioning practices, applications, storage/maintenance practices etc.
The stakeholders from Industry sectors like Manufacturers, Utilities, Testing Institutions, Suppliers, Consultants, Technical Institutes, National and International Standards Organizations and Certifying Bodies will present papers in this conference.
