Several machines sold on the first day of the exhibition itself!
PackPlus, the four day packaging, processing and supply chain event, concluded at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida with several positive outcomes. With 50+ product launches, 100+ live running machines and the first ever demo of a complete packaging line running on PackML protocol, the Show witnessed a footfall of 5012 visitors.
Building a record with more than 5 machines reportedly sold on its very first day under the Converting Zone, PackPlus turned out to be positive for the Packaging and Processing Zone, too with most of the exhibitors revealing important leads and serious enquiries.
Twin Engineers booked order for three of its machine- Twin Pump (Solvent less) – Futura on the very first day of the exhibition. Rollex Machinery also sold its slitter rewinder machine on the first day to a Nepal based company. “This has been a lucky Show for us. We participated for the first time in PackPlus and it turned out to be a good decision. We closed a deal and have many follow-ups which we hope to convert in business soon,” said Kirit Fulbariya, Director, Rollex Machinery. Suddha Converting Machineries (P) Ltd. closed a deal of its eco slitting machine on the second day and received serious enquiries for the solvent-less laminator- economy model.
In the Packaging segment, Pakona Engineers India (P) Ltd. displaying form-fill-seal machines generated good leads. “The Show being held in Greater Noida, most of the enquiries we received were from the North. The display of machine attracted good footfall to the stall,” said Prafull S. Bhalerao, Sr. General Manager, Pakona Engineers (I) (P) Ltd.
Anupam Jain from Packaging Forte visited PackPlus to explore paper packaging solutions. “An exhibition like PackPlus gives the visitors a chance to choose the machine of his requirement from several options available in the industry, through live demos, free product samples and one to one discussion with the company owners. PackPlus is a very well organized event,” he said.
The International Packaging Conclave held a day prior to the start of the PackPlus Exhibition, turned out to be the trigger puller with 120 delegates participating in the event. “The programme benefited the audience immensely as a subject like ‘Packaging Design’ is very crucial in any segment of packaging. The speakers from diversified fields talking on one subject covered the issue from all aspects. I would want the industry to take benefit of such knowledge sharing platforms to learn and grow,” said Prabuddha Dasgupta, Consultant, Signode India- a delegate at the Conclave.
With the closing of the North edition, the heads have turned towards Hyderabad now where PackPlus will soon arrive with its South India edition.
