After the mega success of the earlier editions of India Energy Conclave, CII is organising the 5th edition of India Energy Conclave 2011, scheduled on 1 – 2 December 2011 at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall, Ahmedabad concurrent with the 5th edition of International Exhibition Energy Expo 2011 scheduled on 1 - 3 December 2011 at the same venue.
The Government of Gujarat (Energy & Petrochemicals Department) is the Host State for the event and is supported by Ministry of New andRenewable Energy, Government of India and Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Indian Power Sector is at an inflexion point; the next few years offer a mixed bag of promises and challenges for the industry. On one hand, significant capacities are being added, while on the other it faces critical issues such as fuel security, discom level inadequacies and sustainability concerns. India Energy Conclave 2011 will facilitate discussions and thoughts from some of the leading practitioners in the industry and help unravel the trajectory that the sector will take in the coming years.
