PackPlus 2010, the Total Packaging, Processing and Supply Chain Event, is all set to hit the floor on December 3 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Spread over 12,000 sq m, with 350+ Exhibitors, 100+ product launches, 230+ running machineries and several special attractions, the Show has comfortably surpassed its ambitious targets.
The Show brings together the worldwide manufacturers and providers of machinery, materials and services for food, pharma and packaging industry from India and abroad.
The Packaging Zone showcases the India Packaging Show. It will have exhibitors displaying packaging machines and equipment like coding and on-line printing machines, foiling, capsuling, feeding and labelling machines, packaging containers, packaging materials, closing and sealing materials, label and package converters, package designers and consultants and testing materials and software.
PackPlus 2010 has dedicated a separate pavilion to ‘Finished Packaging Products’ giving an opportunity to the printers, converters and manufacturers of finished packaging products to bring latest technology on showcase.
Featured in the Converting Zone will be India Converting Show, India Flexo Show and India Corrugated Show. The zone will have exhibitors displaying package printing, converting and finishing equipment as well as corrugated box making machinery together with materials and services used by the package converters and corrugated box makers.
Automation 4 Packaging, Food Technology Show and Pharma Technology Show will come under the Processing Zone. The exhibiting segments will include technology, equipment, materials and solutions for production and processing of food and pharmaceuticals. Automation for industry, factory & processes, motion drives and robotics that has applications across industries with special focus on packaging and processing of food and pharma will be the segments on display in the Automation segment.
Automation 4 Packaging, in its second edition, will hold a one-day Workshop in association with Automation Industry Association (AIA), running concurrent with the main event.
Bulk Pack will be the highlight of Supply Chain Zone in this edition, coming together with India AIDC Show and India Logistics Show. Integrators and providers of rigid packaging, rigid intermediate bulk containers, flexible intermediate containers, woven sacks, flexi tanks, bulk filling machines, end of line packaging solutions, bar code, accessories & finished packaging, RFID & card technologies, integrators of supply chain systems, cold chain, ware housing systems, material handling and weighing, software and services will exhibit in this zone.
Adding international value to the Show, PackPlus 2010 will host special pavilions for China and Taiwan. Companies like Jin Gou Packaging Machinery Co. Ltd, Wenzhou Only International Trade Co. Ltd., Cipher Lab and Bitatek will present latest packaging and processing products from their countries on the Indian ground giving an opportunity to the Indian customers to explore global technology advancements.
The Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL), AIFPA, Indian Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association (IFIBCA), All India Flat Tape Manufacturers Association (AIFTMA), Hologram Manufacturers Association India (HoMAI), AIDC Technologies Association of India, Indian Bulk Manufacturers’ Association (IBMA), Delhi Printers’ Association, Flexible Packaging Entrepreneurs Welfare Association (FPEWA) and Agro & Food Processing Technology & Equipment Providers Association of India (AFTPAI) have extended their support to the Show.
Running concurrently with the Show will be the PackAge Conference, AIMCAL Converting School and a one day conference on Inclusive Growth of Food Processing Industry, organised in association with All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA).
